Hey I’m Keith
In my early 20s I used to be a swimmer, who kept himself in shape and ate healthily. But the combination of children, finances and general work commitments meant I let myself slip. The only opportunities then were swimming or the gym, both of which cost money and when you have a young family to support it wasn’t easy. I must also admit laziness played a factor too.
A few years on, back in March 2015, a friend suggested I look at this new fitness club. Whilst money isn’t as much of an issue now I thought £2.50 per session was great value for money. I thought, why not! So my partner and I joined and basically I haven’t looked back.
Since then I’ve been lucky to have been made a coach. That’s enabled me to share my journey and experiences with others who are where I was 2 years ago. It also enables me to offer support, encouragement and hopefully motivation plus help with nutrition goals.
This journey is a journey that will change your life, your view of food and if you stick to it, make a healthier, happier and more confident you.
I also have the privilege to run the Sunday 5K for beginners (which usually starts at 9.00am) and during the lighter evenings the 2.5K on a Tuesday and Friday. These are free bonus sessions the Fitclub offer. So if you fancy a nice walk, jog or run with like-minded people then come along.
